You'll be greeted at the door and helped to find a seat. We don't make first-time visitors stand up or introduce themselves.
Bible-Centered Worship
Congregational hymns, prayer, and Bible preaching. Children 6th grade and under have their own class during the morning service.

Some folks dress up, some come in jeans — what matters is that you're here. Bring the whole family.

We’re a family-oriented Independent Baptist church in Vassar, Michigan. We’ve been gathering since 1897 — nearly 130 years — to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, study His Word, and reach our community with the Gospel.
Our mission is simple: to love God, love people, and preach the Word — the same way Baptists have for generations.

What We Believe
We hold to the historic doctrines of the Independent Baptist faith. Here are four of them.
The Bible
We believe the King James Bible is the inspired, preserved Word of God — our final authority for faith and practice.
The Trinity
One God eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Salvation
By grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone — not of works, lest any man should boast.
The Church
Local, autonomous, Baptist — gathered to worship, edify believers, and preach the Gospel.
Our Ministries
There’s a place for every member of the family.
Sunday School
Classes for every age, every Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Children's Ministry
A class of their own for 6th grade and under during morning worship.
Youth Group
Grades 7–12 meet Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM for fellowship and Bible study.

Our own Christian school, serving families right alongside the church.
How to Know You’re Saved.
The Bible tells us salvation is a gift from God, received by faith in His Son Jesus Christ. The Roman Road through Scripture lays it out simply.
Admit
Romans 3:23
Admit that you are a sinner. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Believe
Romans 5:8
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you. “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Call
Romans 10:13
